Senior Manager for the Pork Barn and Kill Floor , you will oversee daily operations across both areas, follow food safety guidelines, and lead safe, effective operations in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Your days will include:

Overseeing daily Pork Barn and Kill Floor operations in coordination with Farms, Planning, Health and Safety, Food Safety and Regulatory, CFIA, and other production departments

Ensuring adherence to animal welfare standards and monitoring the humane handling of animals

Managing safe, cost-effective, and efficient production while leveraging supervisory, quality management, maintenance, and sanitation resources

Collaborating with the CFIA on government regulations and procedures

Leading and participating in Continuous Improvement programs to drive productivity, reduce waste,



and meet customer expectations

Communicating openly with all departments to maintain quality standards, equipment maintenance, and on-time manufacturing

Achieving productivity, quality, and safety targets while providing leadership for special projects

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

Post-secondary education

5 years’ experience in progressive plant floor management in food processing operations

Experience with critical events resolution

Knowledge of animal welfare standards and CFIA regulations and procedures

Ability to build positive relationships with customers and cross-functional teams

An cutting-edge management style with strong leadership skills
