Wood’s Operations team is seeking an Industrial Millwright / Mechanical Fitter for casual or temporary adhoc work. The assignment serves the oil and gas petrochemical industry offshore Newfoundland and Labrador. Work occurs as needed through call-out scheduling, with responsibilities spanning machinery installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. The position is unionized.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan millwright activities in accordance with drawings
- Execute activities according to technical specifications
- Install and maintain stationary industrial machinery




- Repair and troubleshoot mechanical equipment
- Work across indoor and outdoor operating conditions

Requirements:

- Availability for adhoc casual or temporary work
- Willingness to work offshore on the Hibernia Platform
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and weather
- Completion of medical, drug, and alcohol testing
