This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrician who enjoys troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving highly automated manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated production and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose electrical issues involving PLCs, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, and control systems.
- Perform electrical modifications, upgrades, and equipment installations.
- Support automation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Assist with PLC troubleshooting and programming adjustments.




- Complete preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance, production, and engineering teams.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and electrical standards.

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario 442A Industrial Electrician License.
- 3+ years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing workplace.
- Strong automation and controls troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, VFDs, and motor controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 600V.
- Strong understanding of industrial safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Food, packaging, automotive, or high-speed manufacturing experience considered an asset.
