Great Events Catering is looking for an experienced and motivated Line Cook / Short Order Cook to join our culinary team

The ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and can prepare high-quality meals efficiently while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and company standards.
- Work efficiently on the line, handling multiple orders during busy service periods.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, portion sizes, and presentation.
- Complete daily food preparation and maintain properly stocked stations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with inventory management, food storage, and kitchen organization.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.





Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Line Cook, Short Order Cook, or in a similar kitchen position.
- Solid knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
