As Client Partner, General Health & Safety, you advise executives, directors, managers, staff, and other clients on Occupational Health & Safety issues. You interpret legislation and collective agreements, respond to incidents, support WorkSafeBC matters, and contribute to constructive union-management relations. The position maintains current program knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Consult on health and safety issues and preventive measures
- Respond to incidents and support appropriate follow-up actions
- Liaise with WorkSafeBC during inspections and compliance planning




- Advise on OH&S; grievances and employer positions
- Promote respectful union-management problem-solving

Requirements:

- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
- Five years recent related experience in a unionized environment
- CRSP registration or acceptable equivalent certification
- Knowledge of Workers Compensation Act and OH&S; Regulation
- Ability to handle sensitive labour-climate interactions effectively
