Build backend foundations for MaintainX’s internal developer platform using TypeScript, Node.js, and distributed systems expertise. Help engineers ship faster as the organization grows. As a Senior Software Developer on the Backend team, you will treat the internal developer platform as a product for more than 150 developers. You will shape tooling, golden paths, and platform primitives that reduce manual work and tribal knowledge. The work includes GraphQL APIs, service templates, scaffolders, and CI/CD workflows. Key Responsibilities:

Design backend foundations powering the internal developer platform Build tooling for developer workflows and platform adoption Consolidate and evolve platform primitives and golden paths Advance GraphQL, event-driven, OpenAPI, and CI/CD workflows Collaborate with platform and product development teams Requirements:

Five or more years of distributed systems experience Expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, or similar languages Experience evolving GraphQL APIs at scale Robust AI mindset and product mindset Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines Bring senior backend engineering, GraphQL, and platform product expertise to MaintainX’s developer tooling team.
