Build payments industry knowledge at Interac as a Business Development Intern in Toronto, researching client data and supporting partnerships. Work in a flexible hybrid model during the January to April 2027 internship.

This internship supports Interac’s Business Development team across internal and external partnerships. You will research client issues, technologies, regulations, trends, and competitive activity within payments. Your analysis supports QBRs, Sales Presentations, client deliverables, and initiatives involving volumes and revenue. The internship also develops negotiation, critical thinking, presentation building, and data interpretation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research client issues, market data, and payments industry trends
- Prepare reporting for QBRs and Sales Presentations




- Maintain positive business relationships and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate research requests with internal and external partners
- Attend meetings, capture notes, and share ideas

Requirements:

- Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Detail-oriented, organized, versatile, and adaptable approach
- Initiative and ownership in conversations, meetings, and follow-ups
- Clear presentation skills for concepts and data
- Salesforce, Tableau, Qualtrics, or similar experience is an asset
