Manage a profitable grain book at GSL in a 100% in-office Senior Grain Trader role focused on origination and negotiation. Read markets, manage risk, and grow relationships across North America. GSL buys, sells, and arranges transportation for grains and cereals across North America and export markets. As part of McGill St Laurent, the company seeks a Senior Grain Trader to manage and grow a book. You will influence desk strategy while helping set the pace for the team. Key Responsibilities:

Originate, negotiate, and execute grain purchase and sale contracts Analyze supply, demand, basis, freight, and macroeconomic trends Monitor positions, exposures, counterparty, and credit risk Coordinate rail, truck, and vessel logistics with operations Coach traders and contribute to desk strategy Requirements:

At least three years of grain or agricultural commodity trading Proven record building and managing a profitable book Solid origination, negotiation, cold calling, and relationship-building skills English fluency; French or other languages are assets Microsoft Excel and commodity trading systems proficiency Bring grain trading expertise, commercial instincts, and disciplined risk management to GSL’s North American business.
