Support vinyl formulation research at IPEX during Winter 2027, documenting experiments, analyzing results, and presenting findings from Mississauga.

As a Research and Development Co-op Student, you will contribute to IPEX’s product portfolio work through polymer formulation and laboratory projects. The R&D; Group develops formulations, tests conformance, troubleshoots field failures, and evaluates ingredients. Your work includes maintaining project records, using FileMaker Pro databases, following procedures, and helping sustain a clean laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop new and existing vinyl formulations with the R&D; Group
- Use statistical analysis to validate experimental significance
- Prepare technical laboratory reports and presentations




- Maintain laboratory notebooks and FileMaker Pro project records
- Assist with 5S initiatives and laboratory cleanliness

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing a relevant engineering or materials science degree
- Knowledge of polymer science or materials science applicable
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures consistently
- Structured, driven, and results-oriented professional attitude
- Solid communication skills supporting collaborative problem-solving
