You will care for less complex clients, collaborate closely with Registered Nurses, and recognize changes in acuity or complexity. The unit serves diverse patients requiring acute medical care and geriatric assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide supportive, preventive, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative nursing care
- Assess client needs and promote optimal function
- Recognize changing acuity and consult Registered Nurses




- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals and families

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
- Practical Nursing education with required IV medication preparation
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support or Healthcare Provider certification
- Knowledge of senior care, transfers, lifts, and clinical communication
- Minimum one year recent acute medical nursing experience preferred
