Coordinate legal collections and accounting support for Thomas Gold Pettingill LLP, combining e-billing expertise with organized, accurate client service.

The clerk handles outstanding bill collection while assisting with daily accounting and e-billing operations. Working with lawyers, legal assistants, clients, and administrators, this position follows overdue accounts, improves processes, and supports accurate billing records. Technical knowledge and professional communication are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow up with lawyers and clients regarding overdue accounts
- Assist with e-billing process and customer service improvements
- Process day-to-day cheques, banking, and accounts payable
- Enter data and maintain accurate billing information




- Abide by firm policies when handling confidential documents

Requirements:

- Experience with e-billing and accounting functions
- Strong organizational, recordkeeping, and time-management skills
- Knowledge of accounting software such as PCLaw or Soluno
- Experience with TyMetrix, Serengeti, CounselLink, or similar platforms preferred
- Solid verbal, written, research, and problem-solving skills
