Lead construction bid closes in Mississauga with detailed estimating, trade quote levelling, and tender analysis for BUILD IT By Design. This full-time, on-site role covers brand environments and complex projects.

As a Senior Estimator, you will manage bids from tender review through final pricing. You will estimate materials, labour, equipment, subcontracts, and construction facilities across projects typically valued at $1M to $15M. The role supports retail, hospitality, workspace, health and wellness, landlord, renovation, and ground-up work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review tenders and solicit, chase, and level trade quotations
- Resolve scope gaps and produce defensible final bid numbers
- Analyse drawings for buildability, schedule risk, and savings




- Present estimates with conditions to management and clients
- Compare estimates with actual costs after bids close

Requirements:

- Five or more years of construction estimating experience
- General-contractor bid-close ownership from invitations through submission
- Proficiency with PlanSwift, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore, or equivalent
- Robust Excel skills and independent drawing interpretation
- GTA subcontractor, Ontario pricing, and CCDC knowledge
