We currently have an exciting opportunity for aClerical Support Associateto join ourMedical Imagingteam.

Employment Status: Permanent Full TimeHours of Work: Must be available for all rotating 8 hour shifts of days, evenings, weekdays, weekends and statutory holidays (e.g. 6:30am -11:00 pm) - subject to change as per Article 3 - Management RightsLocation: Humber River Health, Wilson SiteLabour Group: Teamsters Clerical or LiUNAReporting Relationship: Manager, Medical ImagingHourly Rate: $29.966 - $31.016

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for patient reception/registration and patient bookings where applicable.
- Maintaining clerical and communication functions on the unit.
- Responsible for filing of film bags and reports where applicable.
- Responsible to monitor the PACS messaging system (Primordial) for verbal report requests
- Other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Knowledge of medical (radiology) terminology is required.
- Experience in Radiology and IMS(PACS) environment is required.
- Experience in Meditech module ITS(Radiology) is required.
- Experience in OBSP program is preferred.
- Medical Office Administration Diploma, preferred.
- Minimum of one year experience with Meditech Community wide scheduling module is preferred.
- Hospital experience is an asset.
- Minimum of one year recent clerical experience in a clinical setting is required.
- Computer skills required, keyboarding 40 wpm required.
