Lead Mississippian development geology for Anova in Calgary, applying mapping and geosteering expertise to southeast Saskatchewan oil assets. Anova seeks a Senior Geologist for its Mississippian oil development. You will generate prospects, plan wells, recommend land, and evaluate acquisitions. The full time, permanent position works from Anova’s Calgary head office and reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer. Key Responsibilities:
Map structure, isopach, porosity, and fluid contacts Generate drilling locations and rank the prospect inventory Plan horizontal and multi-lateral wells with Engineering Geosteer horizontal wells while drilling Evaluate acquisitions, farm-ins, and joint ventures Requirements:
Geology degree and P.Geo. registration or eligibility Registration through APEGS or APEGA Eight or more years of development geology experience Direct Mississippian experience in southeast Saskatchewan AccuMap and standard mapping and log analysis proficiency Apply your Mississippian mapping, well planning, and geosteering expertise to Anova’s southeast Saskatchewan development program.
