Lead SOX compliance and ICFR expertise at Stantec in Edmonton or Calgary, strengthening financial reporting controls across global business functions. As Manager, Internal Controls, you will guide control design, documentation, assessment, remediation, and sustainability across financially relevant processes and systems. The work combines financial reporting risk, audit coordination, and practical business partnership. You will support IFRS and/or U.S. GAAP requirements, COSO practices, and evolving regulatory needs. This full-time position works in a typical office environment and may involve domestic and international travel. Key Responsibilities:

Lead annual ICFR and SOX compliance activities Coordinate walkthroughs, testing, audit requests, and resolutions Maintain narratives, matrices, procedures, flowcharts,



and evidence standards Monitor deficiency remediation, ownership, timelines, and outcomes Improve controls through technology, analytics, and automation Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar discipline Minimum 10 years of relevant post-designation experience Knowledge of internal controls, ICFR, SOX, and financial reporting risk Understanding of COSO and risk assessment practices CPA, CIA, or another relevant qualified designation Apply financial reporting risk, SOX, audit, and control expertise to advance Stantec’s global internal control environment.
