Make a difference in patients’ lives through specimen collection with LifeLabs. This part time Float assignment includes various shifts and Saturday rotation.

As a Lab Patient Technician, you will greet patients, explain collection requirements, and prepare samples for transportation. The work includes phlebotomy, special test collections, ECG tracings, holter monitor connections, and related documentation. You will maintain client relationships, enter patient information, and follow strict privacy standards. Two positions are available, with an ASAP start date.

Key Responsibilities:

- Guide patients before and during specimen collection
- Perform phlebotomies and special test collections
- Complete medical/legal and paternity test documentation




- Enter demographics and requisition information accurately
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and transportation

Requirements:

- Laboratory Assistant program graduation preferred
- Phlebotomy experience is an asset
- ECG training or experience is an asset
- Empathy, flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
- Strict patient privacy and confidentiality standards
