We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor with the oppurtinuty for Manager to join our automotive team.

The Service

Advisor acts as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a seamless and positive experience. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to upsell services effectively. The ideal candidate will have dealership or mechanic experience and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties

- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their vehicle service needs
- Explain repair and maintenance procedures clearly, providing recommendations based on mechanical knowledge
- Prepare detailed service estimates and communicate costs effectively to customers
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services
- Upsell additional services or products that meet customer needs while maintaining integrity
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of service orders, customer interactions, and vehicle history
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns




- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service area
- Open/ Close

Experience

- Previous repair facility or dealership experience is highly preferred - 2 year min.
- Mechanic or automotive repair experience is a robust plus
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
- Experience in sales, including upselling services or products effectively
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail
