MasterBrand is the #1 manufacturer of residential cabinets in North America. The Health & Safety Specialist implements and maintains health and safety programs at the Winnipeg, Manitoba cabinet manufacturing facility. This individual contributor role works closely with associates and leaders to identify workplace hazards, coordinate practical improvements, and support secure day-to-day operations. Reporting to the Manager of Health & Safety, the Specialist manages assigned program activities, conducts inspections, supports investigations, and delivers safety training. The role requires a regular presence on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a visible presence on the production floor; conduct safety gemba walks, workplace inspections, and observations to identify hazards and discuss improvements with associates and supervisors.
- Prepare and update job hazard analyses, safe work procedures, and lockout procedures.
- Conduct safety training for new and existing associates.
- Investigate incidents and near misses.
- Coordinate emergency response planning.

Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
- 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
