This permanent position reports to the Supervisor, Spatial Solutions, within Information Technology Solutions. You will manage information, respond to service requests, support application implementation, and produce visualization products. The role combines customer service, user training, documentation, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather client requirements and support user needs
- Create maps, graphics, datasets, and analytical products
- Maintain metadata, processes, and information management documentation
- Train users during project and system implementations
- Resolve inquiries while meeting Town customer service standards
Requirements:
- Three-year technology, GIS, environmental science, or related credential
- One year developing cartographic and analytical GIS products
- Knowledge of relational databases and data creation methods
- Computer skills with ArcGIS applications and Microsoft tools
- Demonstrated communication, accountability, adaptability, and initiative
