The Director of the Program Management Office establishes a lean, outcome-focused PMO across Ciena. You will align investments, sequence initiatives, and create accountability across business and technology teams. The work includes portfolio visibility, financial transparency, dependency management, and consistent execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead enterprise technology portfolio management across strategic programs
- Provide consolidated health, milestone, dependency, risk, and financial views
- Translate strategic priorities into owned programs with measurable outcomes
- Identify conflicts, constraints, dependencies,



and leadership decisions
- Establish escalation paths for off-track initiatives

Requirements:

- 10+ years leading complex technology programs, portfolios, or PMOs
- Experience managing concurrent initiatives across business and technology
- Understanding of governance, financial, resource, risk, and portfolio management
- Ability to translate delivery issues into executive decisions
- Solid leadership, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills
