Coordinate North American NGL rail movements at AltaGas using analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Support propane and butane scheduling across origin and destination networks.
As a Scheduler, Rail Logistics, you will support marketers, analysts, schedulers, commercial teams, and operations. Your work will coordinate NGL transportation, optimize freight rates, and maintain service levels with Class 1 railroads. The position also supports customer and partner relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule propane and butane shipments between North American locations
- Align transportation needs with operational activities
- Optimize freight rates and service levels with railroads
- Maintain NGL movement KPIs, including fleet utilization
- Manage documents, bills of lading, invoicing, and payments
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree
- At least four years in related North American rail logistics
- Experience collaborating with Class 1 railroads
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Solid analytical, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills
