News: Boreal announces its first partnership with the University of New Brunswick to expand access to high-quality online education
Toronto, Canada
Full-Time
Remote/Flexible Work
As Associate Director, Partner Operations, you’ll join Boreal Education and work directly with our Chief Operating Officer and executive team. We partner with leading Canadian universities to bring their programs online for working adults who want to advance their careers without pausing their lives.
Our team is talented, ambitious and our business is scaling fast. You’ll work closely with our recruitment and enrolment, student success, academic partnerships, marketing and finance teams, along with our technology partners and the universities we serve. As we launch new programs and welcome new partners, the systems and infrastructure you help us build will carry that growth. We are remote by design, and we come together at our office in Toronto’s Financial District for in-person meetings.
You’ll build Boreal’s revenue and sales operations function, owning the tools, data and insight behind the full learner journey from first inquiry through to graduation. This is a senior individual contributor role with a clear path to grow the function and lead a team as Boreal scales.
Systems And Infrastructure
- Own Salesforce as our system of record, shaping configuration priorities, the data model and the roadmap.
- Set the standard for how our technology partners deliver, with clear roles, service levels and accountability.
- Give every team the tools and hardware for optimized productivity.
Data And Business Intelligence
- Build real-time marketing attribution that shows which channels and campaigns attract learners, and use it to sharpen performance.
- Design the dashboards and reporting our team, partners, leadership and board rely on, all built on one consistent set of KPIs.
- Implement business intelligence tools that bring data from across our systems into one trusted, real-time view by program.
- Contribute the data and analysis behind enrolment forecasts and hiring plans
Roadmap And Change
- Own the internal systems roadmap with input from our teams.
- Keep the knowledge base current and own release communications.
- Partner on marketing automation, including lead flow, scoring, routing and assignment.
Security And Compliance
- Apply our data standards, ownership and access controls across systems
- Run the privacy and compliance practices we have in place, including PIPEDA, provincial privacy law, CASL and partner policies.
In Your First Year, You Will
- Deliver a prioritized systems plan and a few quick wins in your first 90 days
- Align leadership on one set of KPI definitions
- Put live dashboards, automated partner reporting and business intelligence tools in place
- See the next program launch run on your playbook
We Believe You’ll Gain
- Ownership of the function, with the mandate to design it for scale.
- Impact you can see, as better systems and sharper insight help more learners reach their goals.
- A clear path to grow into leading a team as the function expands.
Your Qualifications And Skills
- 6+ years in revenue operations, sales operations, marketing operations or business systems, including leading complex projects end to end.
- Deep, hands-on Salesforce experience (Sales Cloud and Account Engagement/Pardot or similar), including reports, dashboards, flows and data model design.
- A track record of building KPI frameworks and dashboards
- Robust data skills, including spreadsheets, SQL and business intelligence tools
- Experience managing technology vendors to clear service levels
- Experience leading change through roadmaps, release notes, training and documentation.
- Working knowledge of Canadian privacy and anti-spam requirements (PIPEDA, CASL).
- The ability to explain complex systems in plain language to non-technical colleagues and partners.
- Energy for a fast-growing company where you get to build the process as you go.
You’ll stand out if you also bring experience in higher education, EdTech or online learning, a Salesforce Administrator or Consultant certification, experience building a central data source with automated data flows, or professional working French.
Flexible Work
We are a remote-first company based in Toronto, meaning we trust that you do your best work at home. We meet up in the GTA for social events and three times per year for team-wide offsites. We believe this versatile approach gives team members the best of both worlds: time to focus on your role while also ensuring in-person collaboration and community building.
