Lead practical safety communication for restoration teams through orientations, meetings, and emergency preparedness. The Safety Designate supports people across sites and offices.
Working with Lydale and Canstar, you will coordinate safety activities spanning construction field operations and restoration work. You will maintain records, support disciplinary tracking, inspect equipment, and reinforce housekeeping and PPE requirements. Attention to detail and clear communication are significant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present safety meetings and facilitate worker orientations
- Track disciplinary records and emergency response equipment
- Review and revise safety policies and procedures
- Ensure required PPE use and safe housekeeping
- Coordinate vehicle pickup and drop-off activities
Requirements:
- Minimum two years in a safety role
- Minimum two years of construction field experience
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Experience operating a forklift considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
