Lead VMware architecture and VCF 9.X upgrades across multiple data centres as an experienced infrastructure architect and implementer. Apply hands-on migration expertise.
This position leads planning, design, and implementation for upgrading VMware environments from vSphere 8 to VCF 9.X. The work includes workload migration, solution architecture collaboration, and infrastructure documentation. Disaster recovery, high availability testing, operational readiness, compliance, security, and risk management are also central responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute VMware infrastructure upgrades to VCF 9.X
- Lead workload migration and implementation activities
- Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams
- Develop test plans, schedules,
and transition documentation
- Support disaster recovery and high availability testing
Requirements:
- Robust VMware architecture, design, and implementation experience
- Hands-on VCF 9.X upgrade and workload migration experience
- Knowledge of SRM, NSX-T, vSphere, vSAN, and vLCM
- Seven to ten years of IT infrastructure experience
- At least four years working with VMware
