We are seeking an associate lawyer with experience or genuine interest in real estate law to join our collegial and professional law firm.

We are a team of two lawyers and law clerks, operating in a law chambers environment with other lawyers and clerks. Our firm is well established, serving returning clients and trusted referrals, primarily in the areas of residential and commercial real estate law, acting on purchases, sales, refinancings and leasing matters. We also maintain subsidiary practices in wills and estates law and corporate law.

You would work closely with, and oversee, our law clerks on all real estate matters. responsible and dedicated to the success of the firm.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario
- Strong grasp of the English language and the ability to speak and write clearly and effectively
- Keen attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and an eagerness to assist clients and staff
- Currently reside in the City of Toronto

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Real estate conveyancing experience, or related skills and experience
- Solid computer skills (MS Office, Unity/Realtiweb, Teraview)
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach to completing tasks thoroughly
- Fluency in Portuguese

This is an in-office position, best suited to candidates who prefer to work with others in person. We are located on College Street near Little Italy, in a vibrant community close to public transit, gyms, restaurants and other amenities.

Compensation is commensurate with experience .
