The Senior Data Engineer works with a diverse analytics team serving Canadian Operations. This position focuses on scalable pipelines, stream processing concepts, data security, compliance, and reliable infrastructure. You will guide Data Engineers while collaborating with cross-functional partners on data requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and maintain scalable AWS data pipelines
- Use Kafka and Step Functions within pipeline development
- Collaborate with partners on data requirements and solutions
- Protect data quality, security, and regulatory compliance
- Stay current with data engineering technologies and practices

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- Experience with AWS Glue and other data-related services
- Familiarity with Kafka and stream processing concepts
- Solid SQL and Python programming skills
- Five to ten years of relevant ETL experience
