About EpicOne

EpicOne is a growth agency in Mississauga. We make short-form video, build websites, and run SEO, AEO and paid ads for trades, food and beverage, and local service businesses across the GTA and Muskoka.

The role

Part time contract, remote, with occasional calls.

Before we sell anything, we figure out what a business actually needs. You're the person who does that. You dig into a company's whole online and offline presence and tell us exactly what's holding them back, what to fix first, and on what timeline. You don't price the work. You diagnose it, and we take it from there.

What you'll do

- Run full audits (whole business) and partial audits (one area) for recent and existing clients
- Website: check speed, mobile experience, how easy it is to call or book, service pages, and where leads drop off
- SEO: check rankings, keywords, technical issues, backlinks and indexing
- Local SEO: check Google Business Profile, reviews, citations, and whether the business name, address and phone match everywhere
- AEO: check how the business shows up in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, including schema and how consistent their info is across the web
- Social media: check posting frequency, content quality, engagement, and how they compare to competitors
- Paid ads: review existing Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts for wasted spend, tracking gaps and missed opportunities
- Offline: note signage, vehicles,

- Competitors: compare the client to 3 to 5 local competitors
- Write a clear growth blueprint: the problems, the services they need, in priority order, laid out over 90 days, 6 months and 12 months
- Match every recommendation to a service on our menu, so our team can price it
- Walk our founder through the findings on a 30-minute call

What you need to know how to do

- 3+ years in digital marketing, SEO or growth strategy, ideally at an agency
- Use Semrush or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4 and PageSpeed Insights confidently
- Audit a Google Business Profile and a local SEO footprint
- Explain AEO and how AI search tools pick which businesses to recommend
- Read a Google Ads and Meta Ads account and spot what's broken
- Judge short-form social content: what's working, what isn't, and why
- Write findings a busy business owner understands, with no jargon
- Prioritize: tell us the 3 things that matter most, not 40 things that could be better

Nice to have

- Experience with local service businesses (trades, restaurants, clinics)
- Google Ads or Meta certifications
- Experience with schema markup and structured data
