Automotive Technician: Tires & General Repair

Our independent tire and auto service shop is growing, and we need a skilled technician to join the team. You’ll split your time between general mechanical work and tire service, so you should be comfortable with both. This role suits someone with solid hands-on experience, not a newcomer to the trade.

What you’ll do

- Troubleshoot and fix problems with brakes, suspension, steering, cooling, electrical, and charging/starting systems
- Use scan tools to pull codes and track down the cause of check-engine lights
- Handle oil changes, routine maintenance, and everyday repair jobs
- Mount, balance, patch, rotate, and install tires on a wide range of vehicles
- Run seasonal tire swaps during our peak periods
- Service and reset TPMS sensors




- Perform vehicle inspections and explain recommended repairs to the service desk
- Keep work orders accurate and your bay clean and secure

What you bring

- 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience
- Working knowledge of diagnostic equipment and scan tools
- Confidence with common repairs and maintenance procedures
- Proven tire mounting, balancing, and repair skills
- Ability to work safely with minimal supervision
- Valid driver’s licence and dependable transportation

Pay: $18.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
