Pro Stop Auto is a locally owned and operated independent automotive repair shop in Kelowna. We are looking for an experienced, dependable Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to join our team. We’re a smaller independent shop that takes pride in quality workmanship, a friendly working environment and treating both our employees and customers with respect.
The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of domestic and import cars and light trucks.
Responsibilities include
- Diagnose and repair vehicle concerns accurately and efficiently in accordance with industry standards.
- Complete assigned work orders safely and in a timely manner.
- Identify and report additional maintenance, repair or safety concerns to the service desk.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work bays, tools and shop equipment.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Licensed Journeyman Automotive Service Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable,
punctual and organized.
- Positive attitude and pride in workmanship are a must!
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Own tools required.
- CVSE inspection certification considered an asset.

We are primarily looking for a licensed Journeyman Technician, but will also consider a motivated third- or fourth-year apprentice with the right skills and attitude.
