Build your heavy equipment welding career with North American Construction Group at its Acheson Shop location. Work a rotating 7 x 7 schedule across days and nights.

As a Journeyperson Welder, you will complete repairs on mining equipment, including CAT, Hitachi, and Komatsu haul trucks, excavators, shovels, and dozers. Your work will include developing scopes, fabricating from blueprints, completing reports, and filling out work orders. You will also teach and evaluate apprentices while following NACG safety procedures and codes of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete repairs on mining equipment
- Fabricate repair components from blueprints
- Develop work scopes before assigned repairs
- Document completed work through reports and work orders
- Evaluate and teach apprentices

Requirements:

- Journeyperson Welder ticket
- One to two years working on heavy equipment
- First Aid
- Self-motivated approach and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in written and verbal English
