As a Sample Preparation Technician, you will prepare client samples for analysis within ALS laboratories. The work supports testing workflows serving mining, environmental science, and industry. You will follow established methods, schedules, quality requirements, and health and safety procedures while maintaining reliable production records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ring, sieve, crush, and split client samples
- Load and unload drying ovens under supervision
- Maintain personal production logs accurately
- Complete general cleaning for basic laboratory cleanliness
- Follow procedures, schedules, and analytical quality requirements
Requirements:
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Basic alphanumeric comprehension and English communication
- Good organizational habits and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for a full shift and wear required PPE
