Working within HUB's Accounting & Compliance team, the Senior Accountant oversees Junior and Staff Accountants while managing monthly close activities. The position provides analytical support, leads specialized accounting processes, and supports projects across Broker Management and GL systems. Responsibilities include reviewing reconciliations, preparing variance analysis, and maintaining compliance with US GAAP, SOX requirements, and HUB policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end close across Broker Management and GL systems
- Review and approve bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare variance analysis, reporting, analytics,
and research
- Oversee accrual, true-up, settlement, and bad debt calculations
- Lead specialized accounting processes and process improvement projects
Requirements:
- Four or more years of accounting experience
- One or more years of team or project leadership
- Account reconciliation preparation and review experience
- Advanced Excel and Generative AI expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
