About Athena
Athena Genealogy LLC is a boutique genealogy firm based in Estero, Florida, led by Founder & CEO Kaan Kayhan. We specialize in German citizenship by descent: restoration and declaration under German nationality law (StAG). We research our clients' ancestry, collect the documents and prepare the application to the German authorities. We serve clients all over the world. This role focuses exclusively on our clients in Canada.
The role
You turn inbound interest into signed clients. We provide the leads, so there is no cold outreach or prospecting: your focus is on the conversation and the close. You guide each family from the first reply to a signed contract, with honesty and care.
What you'll do
- Reply to recent leads fast and book video consultation calls
- Run recorded video calls: explain eligibility and the process clearly
- Present our official price list (fixed prices per person or group, with a 12-month installment plan available)
- Handle objections with empathy, without promising results or inventing discounts
- Take the customer's full name and billing address in the call and send the contract and payment link the same day
- Follow up with fixed next dates, often with several family members involved
- Escalate eligibility edge cases to our support team
- Log every step in our CRM
- Join a weekly performance call with management
What you bring
- Fluent English
- Proven experience in consultative or high-ticket sales or closing
- Strong follow-up discipline and clean CRM habits
- Confidence on video calls
- Empathy for family-history topics and multi-person decisions
- Based in Canada and available for calls in Canadian time zones (covering Eastern to Pacific is a plus)
Nice to have
- German language skills
- Your own German ancestry
- Experience in immigration, legal, citizenship-by-descent or genealogy services
