About the Position

We are looking for a positive, responsible and customer-focused Front Store Associate who enjoys interacting with people and takes pride in keeping the workplace clean, organized and running smoothly.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, pays attention to detail and is comfortable handling different daily responsibilities in a busy bakery environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers, provide friendly service and assist with product selections.
- Take customer orders, process payments and operate the POS system.
- Package bakery products neatly, label items and prepare customer orders.
- Maintain attractive and well-stocked product displays.
- Monitor product freshness, expiry dates and inventory levels.
- Keep the storefront, counters and display areas clean and organized.
- Complete daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping and taking out garbage.
- Assist with opening and closing store procedures.
- Complete daily counts, checklists and basic inventory or sales-related reports.
- Promote products and recommend additional items when appropriate.
- Assist with basic bakery preparations and other store duties when required.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures.

- Willingness to learn, adapt and take on different responsibilities.
- Previous retail, bakery, café or food service experience is an asset, but not required.
