Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain, check, set up, and position surgical equipment
- Complete standardized instrument counts and documentation
- Maintain safe environments through emergency and safety practices
- Assign and delegate tasks to appropriate staff
- Participate on nursing and hospital committees and councils
Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
- Current practicing registration with BCCNM
- Recent relevant clinical nursing experience of one year
- Postgraduate coursework or certification, or equivalent preparation
- Physical ability to perform position duties
