We're looking for skilled, passionate, and hospitality-driven Baristas / All-Rounders who take pride in crafting exceptional coffee, understand professional espresso equipment, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

As a Barista / All-Rounder, you'll be responsible for delivering consistently exceptional beverages while supporting daily café operations and guest service.

Your responsibilities include:

Specialty Coffee & Equipment

- Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages, teas, and specialty drinks to OLIVĒTTE standards.
- Operate professional espresso machines and grinders with confidence and precision.
- Perform daily espresso calibration and dial-in, adjusting grind size, dose, yield, and extraction time to maintain optimal quality.
- Demonstrate proficiency in espresso extraction, milk steaming, microfoam preparation, and latte art.
- Monitor coffee quality throughout the day and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistency.
- Execute proper espresso machine and grinder opening and closing procedures, including equipment checks, cleaning, backflushing, and routine maintenance.
- Identify and troubleshoot common equipment issues, reporting technical concerns promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and efficient coffee station during high-volume service.

Guest Experience & Café Operations
- Deliver warm, attentive, and skilled hospitality to every guest.
- Accurately process orders and payments using the POS system.
- Maintain excellent menu knowledge and confidently recommend products.
- Support pastry displays, packaging, restocking, and product presentation.
- Complete daily opening, closing, cleaning, and cash-handling duties.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, storage, and inventory procedures.
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service.
- Support other café stations and operational needs as required.

What We're Looking ForEducation & Experience

Candidates should have either

- A hospitality-related certificate or diploma (minimum one-year program) with relevant café or hospitality experience.

OR

- At least 2 years of experience in a busy café, bakery, specialty coffee shop, or restaurant.

Hands-on experience with commercial espresso machines and espresso-based beverage preparation is required. Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, grinder calibration, and daily dial-in procedures.
- Experience operating, cleaning, and maintaining professional espresso machines and grinders.
- Proficiency in milk steaming, beverage preparation, and presentation.
- Ability to maintain speed, consistency,



and quality during busy service periods.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
- Robust attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, professional attitude.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with La Marzocco espresso machines and Mahlkönig grinders.
- Specialty coffee training, barista certification, or advanced latte art skills.
- Experience in premium or high-volume cafés.
- Food Handler Certification and/or Smart Serve Certification, where applicable.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs, with assistance when required.
- Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
