Dolce Coffee

House is looking for friendly, dependable, customer-focused Barista/Cashiers who can work FULL-TIME DAYS (8:30 am – 4:00 pm), including weekends and holidays as required. If you can start soon, we'd love to hear from you. You'll prepare quality beverages, serve food and desserts, process customer transactions, and help keep up the welcoming, stylish atmosphere our customers expect from Dolce.

What you'll do - Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.

- Take orders accurately and answer questions about menu items.

- Prepare espresso-based drinks, coffee, tea, specialty beverages and other café products.

- Serve pastries, gelato, desserts, panini and other food items to Dolce's presentation standards.

- Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately process cash, debit, credit and gift-card transactions.

- Handle customer concerns professionally and refer serious issues to management.

- Keep the service counter clean, organized and fully stocked.

- Clean and sanitize equipment, tables, counters, display cases and customer areas.

- Restock cups, lids, ingredients, napkins and retail products throughout the shift.

- Monitor product freshness and follow proper food-storage and rotation procedures.

- Help with opening duties and daily cleaning, including cash reconciliation.





- Work as a team during busy service periods.

- Help create an elegant, positive and memorable customer experience.

What we're looking for - MUST be available full-time, daytime: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, plus weekends and holidays as required.

- Previous barista, cashier, restaurant, retail or customer-service experience is preferred.

- Espresso experience is an asset; training will be provided.

- Strong communication and people skills; friendly, professional and well-presented.

- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

- Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system.

- Organized and calm in a fast-paced environment.

- Robust attention to cleanliness, accuracy and presentation.

- Food Handler Certification is an asset.

Physical requirements - Able to stand and walk for long periods.

- Able to bend, reach and do repetitive tasks.

- Able to safely lift and carry supplies up to about 25 lbs. The ideal person takes pride in great service, enjoys working with people, and knows that every detail, from the cappuccino to the cleanliness of the café, is part of the Dolce experience.
