Lead financial reporting and analysis as District Controller at Karis Disability Services, working full-time on-site from Waterloo, Ontario.
This permanent position supports the Director of Strategic Finance across the Waterloo Office and Saskatchewan District. You will guide ministry-funded resource management, internal control, regulatory compliance, and clear financial communication. The work serves government representatives, district leaders, managers, and Finance team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly financial analysis and reporting across assigned districts
- Prepare reports for Program Managers and Executive Directors
- Identify variances, anomalies, compliance issues, and discrepancies
- Lead annual budgeting and develop financial forecasts
- Communicate financial results to stakeholders and Ministry representatives
Requirements:
- Six to nine years of comparable work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA or equivalent preferred
- Some overnight travel to Saskatchewan required
- Full-time, in office availability in Waterloo
