Bilingual Amazon Connect Engineer (English/French)

About the Role

Connex is seeking an experienced Bilingual Amazon Connect Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud-based contact centre solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building Amazon Connect environments, integrating AWS services, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. Strong communication skills in both English and French are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, and maintain Amazon Connect contact centre solutions.
- Develop and optimize contact flows, routing profiles, queues, and IVR systems.
- Build integrations using AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex, API Gateway, and other AWS services.
- Implement automation, reporting, and monitoring solutions.
- Troubleshoot Amazon Connect issues and provide ongoing technical support.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand business requirements.
- Support contact centre migrations, enhancements, and current implementations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Qualifications





- Professional fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Amazon Connect.
- Strong knowledge of AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex, and API integrations.
- Experience developing and troubleshooting Amazon Connect contact flows.
- Understanding of contact centre operations, IVR, call routing, and telephony.
- Experience with Python or JavaScript.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- AWS certifications.
- Experience with Amazon Bedrock, Contact Lens, CloudWatch, or Amazon S3.
- Experience migrating contact centres from platforms such as Genesys, Five9, or Cisco.
- Familiarity with CRM integrations and conversational AI.
- Experience working in client-facing or consulting environments.
