As a Crisis Worker, you will provide para-professional support within the HSC MH Crisis Response Centre. The work draws on mental health experience, suicide assessment, crisis intervention, recovery-oriented guidelines, and knowledge of mental illness presentations. Key Responsibilities:

- Support adults with mental illness through post-crisis services
- Recognize mental illness presentations and substance-related concerns
- Use suicide assessment and intervention approaches
- Apply trauma-informed care principles in client support

- Prioritize tasks and maintain organized service delivery

Requirements:

- Two years' required mental health experience at paraprofessional level
- Understanding of recovery-oriented guidelines and mental health programs
- Familiarity with Mental Health and related provincial legislation
- Robust verbal, written, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Current Criminal, Child Abuse, and Adult Abuse checks required

Bring mental health experience, suicide intervention knowledge, and trauma-informed support to Shared Health's post-crisis clinical services.
