As an experienced part time accountant, you will manage core accounting operations for a Canadian online business. The work centers on sales, refunds, expenses, transaction recording, and payment reconciliations. You will also prepare monthly financial statements and Canadian corporate tax and GST/HST documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage daily bookkeeping for the e-commerce business
- Record sales, refunds, expenses, and other transactions
- Complete payment reconciliations using cash-basis accounting
- Prepare monthly financial statements and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate synchronization of accounting data

Requirements:

- At least five years of accounting experience
- Experience in e-commerce is preferred
- Strong QuickBooks Online expertise
- Knowledge of cash-basis accounting practices
- Experience preparing Canadian tax and GST/HST documentation
