Do you love bringing order to messy financial records? Do you get satisfaction from reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies and knowing the numbers are right?

We're looking for a detail-oriented, experienced bookkeeper to own the day-to-day bookkeeping for two growing businesses. Your work will give the owners confidence in their numbers and help them make better decisions.

What You'll Do

Your first priority will be cleaning up and organizing our books. Once that's done, you'll take ownership of ongoing bookkeeping and keep everything accurate and current.

- Clean up and organize existing QuickBooks records
- Reconcile bank, credit card and other financial accounts
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for both companies in QuickBooks and Xero
- Process and manage payroll
- Review and categorize transactions; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Keep accounts and reconciliations current
- Prepare financial information for management and external accountants
- Build reliable bookkeeping processes that can be maintained consistently

What Success Looks Like Within your first few months, accounts will be reconciled,



outstanding issues resolved, and both businesses will have a reliable system for keeping their books current. Over time, you'll become the trusted owner of our day-to-day financial records.

What You Bring

- Full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Strong QuickBooks skills and experience with Xero
- Bank and account reconciliation experience
- Payroll processing experience
- Experience managing books for more than one company
- Strong attention to detail, organization and time management
- The confidence to dig into discrepancies and ask questions
- The ability to work independently and communicate clearly

Assets: bookkeeping cleanup experience; experience in construction, renovation or home services.
