Build highly available Electricity Market Management Systems remotely across Canada with DevOps, Kubernetes, and CI/CD expertise. Travel is required for customer deployments and collaboration. GE Vernova seeks a Senior Software Engineer focused on DevOps practices and infrastructure. You will support on-premise, container-based environments, microservices, and enterprise system integration. The work spans software implementation, troubleshooting, customization, and integration with GE and customer systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-premise container deployment infrastructure evolution
- Architect build infrastructure with Ansible, Maven, Jenkins, and Artifactory
- Advise customers on infrastructure-as-code practices
- Implement, integrate,
and validate system changes
- Monitor systems, resolve defects, and optimize performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field
- At least five years in deployment, DevOps, development, or integration
- At least three years managing Kubernetes and microservices
- Willingness to travel 10–20% of the time
- Experience with ArgoCD, Helm, or Red Hat Linux Apply your Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure expertise to GE Vernova’s critical Electricity Market Management Systems remotely.
