The position supports recent product introduction and market delivery through component qualification, obsolescence management, compliance reviews, and supplier collaboration. Knowledge of GNSS receivers and electronic manufacturing is relevant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Component Approved Vendor List activities
- Identify alternatives and second sources with Engineering and Supply Chain
- Review digital and RF component technical data sheets
- Assess compliance with RoHS,
WEEE, REACH, and Conflict Minerals
- Lead failure analysis with component manufacturers
Requirements:
- Two-year Electronics Engineering Technology diploma minimum
- Five or more years of experience
- Knowledge of digital and RF design and GNSS receivers
- Experience in an electronic manufacturing environment
