Shape enterprise security architecture at Sun Life, focusing on AI systems, multi-cloud security, and zero-trust design across a hybrid work model. As Director, Security Architecture, you will represent security across enterprise architecture and technology communities. Prioritise strategic capabilities, align security with architecture governance and the NIST framework, and guide modernisation across cloud and on-premises environments. Your work will cover AI security, technology strategy, and defense-in-depth.

Key Responsibilities
- Review architecture patterns and guardrails with global domain architects
- Evaluate emerging technologies through proofs of concept and business cases
- Represent security strategy at executive forums and review boards
- Define secure architecture for AI and agentic systems




- Drive consistent controls and telemetry across multiple clouds

Requirements:
- Seven to ten years in security architecture, engineering, and design
- Experience across security, network, infrastructure, and architecture domains
- Multi-cloud security architecture across at least two major providers
- Familiarity with AI and LLM threat models and governance frameworks
- University degree, college diploma, or equivalent co-op work experience Lead Sun Life’s security architecture direction through AI security, multi-cloud controls, strategic technology decisions, and transparent communication.
