Lead community clinical care as a Clinical Supervisor Registered Practical Nurse with patient assessment and team supervision expertise. This is a temporary six month contract. At ParaMed, the Clinical UCP Supervisor supports PSWs and HSWs caring for clients in the community. You will assess, implement, and evaluate clinical interventions while promoting safe, quality, ethical care. The position requires leadership, documentation knowledge, teaching skills, and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise PSWs and HSWs under legislated and company standards
- Resolve concerns from staff, patients, families, and team members
- Lead huddles, meetings, one-on-ones, education, coaching, and mentoring
- Investigate patient safety incidents and document action plans
- Support clinical documentation and funder reporting requirements
Requirements:
- Current unrestricted RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum five years practicing as a Registered Practical Nurse
- Comprehensive patient health assessment and community nursing knowledge
- Team leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current transparent VSS Use clinical leadership, assessment, documentation, and coaching skills to support safe home health care through ParaMed’s community services.
