Build PetSmart digital experiences with React, Next.js, and TypeScript while working primarily from the Canada Home Office. A flex day may be available. As a UX Optimization Developer, you will develop and optimize user-facing experiences for petsmart.com and PetSmart’s mobile app. Your work includes reusable components, A/B testing, performance optimization, and scalable front-end architecture. You will collaborate with business, product, IT, and engineering leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop user-facing features with React.js and Next.js
- Build reusable components for scalable component libraries
- Lead and support A/B testing initiatives
- Translate designs and wireframes into maintainable code
- Optimize performance across devices and browsers
Requirements:
- Five-plus years as a Front-end or UX Developer
- Robust Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS experience
- Experience with experimentation platforms and A/B testing
- Experience with RESTful APIs and version control tools
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience Apply front-end development, experimentation, and analytical skills to optimize PetSmart experiences across web and mobile platforms.
