Use technical accounting and tax knowledge as a Financial Accountant at MICM, supporting statutory reporting, BAS, tax returns, and financial close. MICM is seeking a Financial Accountant for its Finance team in Melbourne’s CBD. You will support statutory and management reporting across P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow. The role includes tax reporting, accounting standards implementation, audits, Accounts Payable guidance, and commercial finance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to ATO reporting, including BAS, Tax Returns, and FBT
- Support accounting standards implementation for AASB 15 and AASB 16
- Provide technical accounting guidance to Accounts Payable
- Prepare audit documentation and liaise with external auditors
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and CapEx planning

Requirements:
- Experience in finance or accounting roles
- Exposure to reporting and financial close processes
- Robust technical accounting and tax knowledge
- High attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards Bring technical accounting, tax, reporting, and audit capability to MICM’s Financial Accountant position in Melbourne’s CBD.
