The position works with leaders, subject matter experts, risk partners, and cross-functional stakeholders. It combines oversight, analysis, reporting, remediation, audits, and regulatory commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain oversight of risks, controls, findings, and regulatory obligationsIdentify gaps, overlaps, inconsistencies, and emerging systemic risksRationalize and simplify governance, risk, and control processesAssess remediation plans, corrective actions,



and risk commitmentsPrepare executive reporting and actionable leadership recommendationsRequirements:
Three to five years in governance, risk, controls, audit, or complianceStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills for holistic issue assessmentExperience working with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholdersStrong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skillsProficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and TeamsSupport Manulife’s technology governance through risk oversight, control analysis, executive reporting, and regulatory readiness in Toronto.
