This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BI developer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working directly with business leaders, and developing analytics solutions that have a measurable impact across an organization. While Qlik experience is important, candidates whose primary development background is in Power BI or Tableau will also be considered provided they have hands‑on experience working with Qlik. This position will support Qlik development across affiliated businesses in Canada, the United States, and Mexico and will have the chance to expand into other technology initiatives, including AI development, application development, programming, and other IT projects.

What You'll Do
You will design, develop, deploy, and maintain business intelligence and analytics solutions while partnering with teams across Sales, Finance, Operations, and leadership. Build Qlik solutions from initial data/load scripting through final dashboards and visualizations. Write and maintain Qlik load scripts and develop Set Analysis expressions. Gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical and analytical solutions. Work with data from multiple sources, including relational databases, ERP systems, cloud platforms, APIs, and flat files. Develop and maintain data transformations and QVD files. Support data modeling and ETL/ELT processes. Maintain and improve existing BI applications and reporting solutions.



Optimize application performance, data refreshes, and overall user experience. Explain technical information and data insights to nontechnical users. Provide user support and training to encourage adoption of self‑service analytics. Maintain documentation for applications, data models, scripts, and processes. Hands‑on experience developing BI applications using Qlik, Power BI, and/or Tableau. Experience with Qlik Set Analysis and Qlik scripting. Demonstrated experience developing BI applications and dashboards from initial requirements through final deployment. Experience working with and supporting multiple business functions, such as Sales, Finance, and Operations. Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions. Ability to independently manage priorities and multiple projects. Candidates with fewer years of experience will be considered based on their overall development skills, Qlik knowledge, and ability to independently develop their technical capabilities. Advanced SQL. Dimensional or star‑schema data modeling. QVD architecture and data transformations. Microsoft SQL Server. Azure or other cloud data platforms. ERP data and systems experience. Power BI and/or Tableau experience in addition to Qlik. HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, or React. Rather than being limited to one department or a narrowly defined development function, you will support business intelligence needs across affiliated companies in Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The position also provides an opportunity to broaden your technical experience beyond traditional BI development. As the organization continues to evolve, this individual may become involved with AI development, application development, programming, and other technology projects.
